naturebeyond was conceived in 2001 and our first tour happened during the same year. Pallab and Partha, two childhood friends, started the business with a one computer SOHO set up at the residence of Partha in 2002. Initial numbers were very small, but the vision was clear and the growth was mostly in 3 digits. It took three years for the business to earn any remuneration for its owners and our first employee, who would be working part time, used to get a salary of USD 15 in a month. We always emphasised on guest service over profitability and that, we believe, contributed to our growth at a tremendous pace since inception.

In 2007 the partnership firm was converted into a company, and a two men army became a few dozens strong. Today Alpine Nature Beyond Pvt. Ltd. is the leading tour operator of north-east India. naturebeyond™ has become a leader in its field of operation in North East and Eastern India including Bhutan.

Based in Siliguri, naturebeyond is chiefly engaged in organising leisure tours. We also offer unmatched expertise in adventure activities such as trekking, camping, rafting, rock climbing, mountaineering etc. A third area of operation for naturebeyond is offbeat tours including eco-tours, Jungle tours, Buddhist tourism, Angling / Bird watching tours, Ethnic tourism, Jeep safaris etc.

Our infrastructure includes own offices in Siliguri (West Bengal) and Kolkata, fleet of tourist transport vehicles, trekking and mountaineering equipment and most importantly, excellent ground level knowledge and contacts.

The company is run by a group of young professionals who are totally dedicated to their job. For them tourism is more than a profession, it`s a passion.

Today naturebeyond is divided into separate divisions. “Helpdesk” is a team of highly experienced members who take care of website enquiries. “ASTHA” team looks after the agency business. The “Operations” team looks after the hotel booking and transport arrangement at the ground. “Shrey Transport” is a sister concern which has its own fleet of vehicles.

naturebeyond is an authorised agent of West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation. We are members of IATO, the National body of the tourism industry, ADTOI or Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India, EHTTOA, the apex body of tour operators of North-East and TAAB, the oldest travel agents association of West Bengal.

Partha used to be a typical MBA with a typical corporate job in Mumbai till the entrepreneural bug forced him out of teh job. Together with childhood friend Pallab, they established naturebeyond, a small partnership firm in a remote part of the country and in an industry which both of them loved but knew nothing about.

Partha looks after growth plans of naturebeyond and manages change. New projects and marketing are his domain. All naturebeyond websites are creation of Partha. He also ensures that naturebeyond remains on the cutting age of technology. (91-9733000590)

Pallab used to be a social worker and an environmentalist before he joined Partha, a long term friend, in setting up naturebeyond. The legacy of social welfare was overwhelming and led to several discussions on sustainable growth and what naturebeyond wants to be.

Pallab has traveled far and wide and has an expert command on the north east of India. With his knowledge and expertise he leads the new business, eco tourism and product development initiatives. He has a good fan following among the hoteliers and transporters in the region for his amiable nature (91-9733000591).

Kanchan worked in a number of leading corporate in sales and marketing and would never stick to the same company for more than a few months. Finally he found his calling at naturebeyond. He was just another employee of naturebeyond when he joined the company, but soon through his sheer hard work and passion for what naturebeyond stands for, became one of the most important members of the team.
