Facilities:
The Silver ridge Resort is well known to the
tourists, coming to Dooars especially for wildlifing and bird
watching. Different types of birds, which are not very common
in other parts of the world, are easily seen here.
Silver Ridge Resort offers six accommodations for the tourists.
Two are wooden cottages and two are four and six bedded cottages.
The other two are newly constructed deluxe rooms.
The restaurant offers fresh foods gathered mostly from its own
farmhouse.
Service Tax: All rates are subject
to 10% Service Tax.
Note: The check out time is 12 o'clock at noon.

Khunia watchtower for viewing wild animals (15kms), Gorumara
Park (adjacent), Chapramari Sanctuary (24 Kms),
Silver Ridge is well connected with Siliguri
(80kms) by road. Important:
Because of inadequate accommodation to cater the increasing
rush of tourist an early confirmation is required to avail the
room particularly during during April-May and Oct-November high
sesons.
The forest remains closed from June 15 to September 15. No tourist
activity inside the park is allowed during this period. The
resort remains open and tourists may visit the periphery of
the forest but can not enter the core area during this period |
