Safety
is the key to the success of any adventure sports. We have taken
all the measure to ensure the safety of the rafter.

• There is a group of trained and expert staff
and guides who can negotiate all short of difficulties during
the rafting. They accompany the rafters during the white water
rafting.
• The rafting equipments used are of the highest quality available
in the world.
• A short basic training is organized before the start of the
tour for the beginners and the non-swimmers at the rafting spot.
•
The rafters are provided with the life jackets and helmets as
a safety measure.
• In case of an emergency rescue and pick up, a jeep follows
the river course during the rafting.

to bring. Please go through it and make sure that you come prepared.

Notes
We request you to go through the following points before
finalizing a rafting program
• We do not encourage persons with severe heart disease, epilepsy,
high blood pressure, physically challenged, expecting mothers
to go for the rafting.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited for atleast 6hrs
prior to the rafting trip
• Minimum age for the children is 10 years and must be accompanied
by their parents / guardian
• Non swimmers can take a rafting programme in certain sections
of the river (Grade I to Grade III)
• We reserve the right to alter or cancel any trip depending
on the unavoidable circumstances or due to the adverse weather
condition.
• All persons have to sign the `Assumption of Risk and Release`
bond at the Chitrey White water rafting Center before starting
the trip
• All foreigners are to produce their valid passport and visa
at the Chitrey White water rafting Center before starting the
trip
