WBFDC Malangi Lodge

The Malangi Lodge, Borodabri is situated near Hasimara Air Force base adjacent to Jaldapara sanctuary. The bungalow has 7 large rooms and provides excellent food. An ideal place to explore the wilderness of Jaldapara (10kms) Buxa Tiger Reserve (30kms) and Chilapata forest (5kms.) One can also go to Phuentsholing in Bhutan just 20 kms from here.Other places of attractions: Kunjanagar Eco-Park (30 Kms), Rajabhatkhawa (35 Kms), Rasik beel Bird Sanctuary (50 Kms.), Coochbehar Rajbari Palace and Modan Mohan Temple (35 Kms) etc.The place is well connected with other parts of the state as well as country by road, rail & air.

The amenities at the lodge are basic but clean. There is a large garden within the compound and open space for children to play around. You can visit the forest in the immediate backyard of the lodge. Walking about 500 meters through the forest will take you to a small stream. Do not enter deeper in the forest as it restricted area.

Drive of 5km from hasimara stn. to Bardabrii lodge on road.was irritating.But stay at the said lodge was very nice.The room,food & behavement of the staffs were praiseworthy.The Nearby Malangi river withih jungle & the garden inside touched me . I like to visit Bardabri lodge again.
